Becoming An Ancestor with Sindy Todo

There is one thing we all have in common with the ancestors; we will become one of them. With each breath, we are being initiated into their mysteries. But the question is “are you ready to become an ancestor” when death knocks at your door and calls you to ascend into spirit? To often we shy away from our own death. Yet, facing it brings us fully to life. There are many practical, spiritual and magical tasks before us to make this journey as sacred, conscious and meaningful as we can. In this workshop, Auntie Sindy will discuss the mundane along with the spiritual resources for living wills, defining our legacy, and the means to “be-friend” our own death. What is the prayer work for ascending our spirit when that moment of transition arrives? Auntie Sindy will discuss this and also ways to relate to the ancestral current in our spiritual and magical work. This shifts our embodied relationship with death from fear and dread to honor and joy.
